How to Edit Existing Quotes in NetSuite 

     Editing existing quotes in NetSuite is done by navigating the various subtabs and editing information as needed.

     While there are many reasons you might need to edit a quote, one of the most common is that items need to be added or removed, so we're going to start with that. 

Adding or removing existing items:

  • Navigate to the quote you need to edit 
  • Click the edit button. Now, you'll see that all of the fields can be changed
  • To add or remove items, scroll down the page to the subtabs section of the record 
  • Click the quantity section (under the items subtab) and update the amount with the new number 
  • Click OK 

Add a new item to the quote: 

  • Click the item dropdown and select list 
  • Choose the item you wish to add 
  • Update the quantity and price level as needed 
  • Click add

Update the pricing on an order:

  • Click on the promotions subtab
  • Add a promotion or discount 

     We always recommend keeping quotes up to date as you get more information. For example, we're going to go in and update the lead source since we received that information from the customer, as well as the status and probability. 

     Click save
